Ramen Shops Galore!
Cha Shu Ramen | Fried Rice |
Beef Curry | Chicken Katsu | Gyoza |
Since we were meeting our florist for the wedding at Manoa Market place we decided to get some grindz there as well. There was this little ramen shop close to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (yay! Hawaii has a couple of them now!). Our total bill not including tip for all the stuff above: ~$14!
Aw dang...gotta go get ready. I'll continue my ramen shop coverage later tonight or tomorrow.

Aloooooha! I can't tell you how long I've waited for this trip back home even though we were back this past June. In true Mouji style, I wasted no time to kau kau.
Cantonese-style beef stew/soup with rice noodles (mai fun) | Mom's steamed fish with ginger & green onions | Can't forget the spicy ahi poke, brah! |
We had lunch at Alan Wong's Pineapple Room on the 2nd floor of Macy's Ala Moana Center, and tooks pics of everything besides our frickin' main meal! Dammit! If you're interested, we split a Caesar salad with huli-spiced chicken, Kalua pork BLT, and corned beef katsu loco moco with pineapple ketchup sauce.
After lunch, we shopped a bit then proceeded to Waikiki beach to lay out. I decided to prep my beach bod' by taking a quick jog around Kapiolani park (which pretty much kicked my ass cuz I'm not used to jogging in 87 deg. F weather). Now I'm home for yet another meal ala mommy. Joy!

What's wrong with this picture:Riceboy in a suped up Asian-import car lookin' all gangsta-hard.................blasting some Canto-Andy Lau'ish love ballad! Holy f*ck I wanted to just knock him out and apply mascara on that f*ckin' p*ssy! There are a few of them driving through Irving or Clement street after dinner hours.
Sorry...I suffer from a lack of impulse-control.

Holy sh*t the past couple of weeks have been fuggin' crazy! Well, enough of my clumsy apology for not updating this damned site......
Soooo...today I took a breather from work and went on a quest to find a place to cut my hair. I stopped by a Supercuts on Battery St. and peered thru the window. I saw two stylists there. Both of them were Asian and fobby, but one was a tranny (I recognized him/her from another location). I decided to avoid the risk of a bad bowl cut and proceeded to walk to another Supercuts on Fremont St. I walk in and was greeted by a male stylist:
Dude: Hi! How can I help you?
Me: ....uh...haircut?
Dude: I'm afraid I have an upcoming appointment. Would you like to reschedule?
Me: *glances at appointment sheet...saw 11:45am...looks at watch...11:15am...starts walking out* No thanks.
Dude: *rushes after me and hands me a business card* Here! Take a card and call ahead of time for an appointment!
Me: *waves off the card offer* Sorry, really not worth the effort. Since when did Supercuts take "appointments"? Supercuts got to where they are for being a decent, efficient walk-in chop shop, yet this Supercut Academy graduate has the cahones to pass up an easy fare (cuz I no longer require precision cuts) so that he has a 1/2 hour to gossip and f*ck around before his "appointment" comes walking in?!! Jonathan Antin you are NOT, bitch!!!
Happy to say the non-tranny FOB Asian stylist did a pretty good job...
BTW, I'm so loving the "messy hair" look these days. So frickin' convenient to just slap on some styling paste, toss the hair around, and walk out.

Since I'm going to be quite busy the next few days, I'll just do the simple filler - some obligatory Vegas pics.
Some display at the Bellagio...cuz they're rich enough to do something like this | A recurring dream of mine come true...watermelon sorbet at that gelato shop...love it! |
So high-class that you pee onto a towel/cloth pad to avoid that nasty ricochet |
Making a connection with Julius Caesar | This is where we had Thanksgiving dinner...appetizers were great, but the dinner itself wasn't really worth it |
And for dessert? A phone call to Hong Kong! Dahn taht, anyone? |
